Braeleigh celebrated her 2nd birthday on Sunday, September 14. We tried to make this day very special for her. The day started off with waffles(her fave.) and eggs(scrambled only). Daddy and Braeleigh played outside and in her room while I snuck around and made her a birthday cake. After play time and lunch Braeleigh took her first nap as a two year old. Time is going by too fast....!!! Mommy and Braeleigh painted their nails bright red to match Braeleigh's birthday dress. We then took Braeleigh on a trip to Toys R Us. She was able to pick out some books, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, a babydoll stroller, and her secret present for her party...a "princess bike". We managed to sneek the bike into the car before she realized we had it. After the Toys R Us trip we headed to Nanny and Boogas house for another birthday present. We took her to Rainforest Cafe for dinner, however she did not enjoy the scenery(she was scared of EVERYTHING..ie: monkeys, elephants, rain, I mean EVERYTHING)..After her birthday dinner she got to enjoy the birthday cake mommy made her! What a perfect day for a lil' princess.
